Q: How much time do you require for set-up?
A: We typically require a minimum 2 hours on most jobs. Larger jobs may require more time or more RayBalloons crew. We understand that venues only allow limited time to set-up your event. We will work closely with you to make sure that we have enough time to provide what you need.
Q: What is your payment/cancellation policy?
A: The balance is due upon completion of your job (state, government and corporate accounts excluded). We accept cash, check, Zelle, PayPal and credit/debit cards. If your event is booked less than 4 business days in advance we may require cash payment. Also, on jobs over $300.00 we may require a 10% deposit. Note: credit/debit cards are processed through PayPal email invoicing. We require a minimum 72 hours notice of cancellation.
Q: How is pricing calculated?
A: We have a $200.00 minimum (before tax). Set-up and Delivery plus balloons, helium and labor. Balloon size, shape and color will all affect the price. There are also some rigging charges based on the type of decor we are installing. All of this information will be outlined on the invoice with any changes being approved by both parties. Q: Do you have liability insurance?
A: Yes. We are fully insured and will provide a certificate of additional insured upon request.
Q: Do you charge for travel?
A: Any job beyond 15 miles from Wrightwood, CA is charged at $2.00 per additional mile one way*. In other words, if your job is 20 miles from Wrightwood then your total travel charges are $10.00. Note: jobs that require muliple days may be charged round-trip (both directions).
Q: How does clean-up go?
A: Most of our decor is built on stands and frames and we will need to return after the event to recover them. We do not charge to strike (take down) your event . Striking charges are built into the rigging charges. If we do not need to return then clean-up is up to the client unless otherwise specified.
Q: If all I need is a bunch of helium balloons, why not just go to the party store?
A: Convenience, quality and consistency. By paying just a little more than what a party store would charge, we'll come to you and work on site to make the balloons exactly how you want them. We are professionals and deliver a far superior product compared to the party stores (and you don't need to try and stuff them into your car or make multiple trips).
Q: Can you fill balloons that I have purchased?
A: Yes. Just tell us the count, size and type of balloon (latex, foil, bubble, etc).
Q: Do you do bouquet deliveries for birthdays and special occasions?
A: RayBalloons specializes in on-site balloon decor. We do not typically do balloon bouquet deliveries simply because we are not set-up for it.
Q: Do you make balloon animals (twisting) or offer entertaining services?
A: No, but we may have a professional referral.
Q: Do you sell un-inflated balloons in bulk?
A: While it's not our primary business we do sell bulk, un-inflated balloons for the do-it-yourselfer. Orders are drop-shipped directly from our supplier so there is a shipping charge and one to two days for UPS delivery.
Q: Do you rent helium tanks?
A: No. We can refer you to a supplier upon request.
