49 Years of Faith. Service. Community.
In 2026, we are grateful to celebrate 49 years of Gospel Tabernacle Church (GT) serving God and community. For nearly five decades, GT has been more than a place of worship. It has been a place where people have gathered, families have celebrated, neighbors have connected, and people in need have found support.
From a Place of Worship to a Hub of Community Connection
More recently, we established the Elevate Life Center (ELC) to further expand the church's service by opening our facility as a hub of community connection. Through ELC, we are working to transform our shared space into an opportunity for community—creating a place where organizations, ministries, families, and individuals can come together to address real needs, build relationships, and strengthen our community. Our vision is to ensure that this space is not simply a building that sits in the community, but a building that actively serves the community.
Putting Our Space to Work
Through Elevate Life Center, we are working to:
- Transform our shared space into opportunities for community connection and service.
- Open our doors to like-minded organizations, ministries, nonprofits, and initiatives whose work strengthens individuals, families, and neighborhoods.
- Develop partnerships that expand reach, deepen impact, and make better use of existing community resources.
- Create a responsive, community-centered environment shaped by the real needs and voices of the people and families we serve.
- Provide educational, enrichment, wellness, and community-focused opportunities.
- Utilize our facility to meet real needs in practical and meaningful ways.
The Impact Has Already Begun
Since establishing ELC, with the support of our community, we have already put this vision into action. Our facility has been used to:
- Provide sponsored meals to a local women's shelter and other community locations.
- Conduct a shoe drive, with collected shoes shipped to a village in Africa.
- Partner with a youth and young adult development summer program.
- Provide hygiene products to neighbors in need.
- Host memorials and celebrations of life.
- Provide shared space for ministries, nonprofit organizations, and community partners.
- Create opportunities for people and organizations to come together in service to others.
- And more...
Preserving a Place That Serves
Today, our building needs improvements to remain functional, safe, and available for continued community use. Our Renew, Revive, Restore Capital Campaign is therefore about more than repairing a building. It is about preserving a place that has served this community for nearly five decades—and preparing it for future service.
- A new sancturary roof protects the activities taking place underneath it.
- HVAC improvements help us provide a safe and comfortable environment for the people who use our facility.
- Parking improvements help ensure that children, families, seniors, guests, and community partners can safely access the building.
Improvements to our facility help us expand our ability to host programs, partnerships, gatherings, and services that benefit our community.
We Invite You to Join Us in Preserving the Possibility
We believe the future of our building is bigger than its walls. It is a place of possibility.
- A place where organizations can collaborate.
- A place where families can receive support.
- A place where young people can learn and grow.
- A place where neighbors can gather.
- A place where needs can be met.
- A place where people can serve others.
Your support of the Preserve the Legacy (Renew, Revive, Restore) Capital Campaign helps us sustain this community asset for the next chapter of service.
