You must also verify that you have the right supply lines, typically flexible braided stainless steel hoses, which offer superior durability over basic rubber alternatives. Shutting off the water supply valves under the sink is the critical first safety step, and failing to do so can result in immediate and significant water damage.

Understanding the Three-Part System
A kitchen faucet is not a single unit but a carefully engineered system designed to work in harmony. The primary components include the faucet body itself, the spray head or bubbler, and the drain assembly. Each part relies on specific washers and gaskets to create a watertight seal. Threading the Supply Lines

Final Leak Testing
