There, the Garfield High School's JROTC color guard, honorably observed the Flag Folding Ceremony, the playing of Taps, and a Vintage War Birds Flyover of military planes of the past, with a special guest appearance of Honest Abraham Lincoln who has deeply inspired the masses. Garfield High School JROTC Color guard and Saber Team, along with the Marching Band, Student Leadership, Drill and Cheer, and administration, celebrated the 100th. Members of the marching band and color guard learn the role and importance of music in our communities through performances in the New York Pulaski Day Parade, Garfield Pulaski Day Parade, Garfield City Tree Lighting and many other events throughout the year.
