Bmw Ce 04 Fast Charger

Tried-and-tested BMW Group technology enables fast, simple and flexible charging of the BMW CE 04 with a long range. Can the CE 04 with a Type 2 plug (Australian models are using the type 2), take 30A on a single phase or can it only quick charge on 3 phase? Has anyone had experience getting 30a from a single phase with the Type 2 plug (Mennekes)? This might make or break for me as all the quick chargers around me are single phase 7.4 kw. Would someone buy a charger sans-cable from say ChargePoint, and then purchase the quick charge cable from BMW? Does BMW sell a "fast charging cable" and a "regular speed charging cable"?

It is particularly suitable in countries with predominantly 3-phase charging posts. Please note: The CE 04 supports a maximum charging power of 6.9 kW. The offer of fast charging cables (mode 3) may vary depending on the country.

The CE 04 is as practical and usable as it is stylish. The all-important 0-100% charging time is 4 hours 20 mins from a regular household socket or 1 hour 40 minutes with an optional fast charger (£850). Use the Flexible Fast Charger Mode 2 (provided as standard) featuring a conventional Schuko plug to easily charge your BMW CE 04 using a domestic socket outlet.

Thanks to the 2.3 kW of charging power, your scooter will charge from 0% to 80% in around three and a half hours using the five. The flexible fast charger with 2.3 kW charging capacity forms part of your BMW CE 04's standard equipment*. With a length of five metres it guarantees access to a domestic socket in most cases.

All CE 04s come with the standard home charger. Quick charge is provided by public charging stations or by installing a BMW wall box in your home connected to a 30A or 50A outlet connected to a CE 04 that has the quick charge option, meaning that the bike is quick charge capable. The BMW CE 04 supports Type 2 charging cables, offering fast AC charging up to 6.9kW and seamless compatibility with public EV stations.
