2024+ BMW R 1300 GS Community and Owner's Club. The mileage on both of our slim 1300GSs exceeded 19000 miles the past season. This is to summarize the experience and come up with some conclusions.

Looks like 1300 comes with 2. The new BMW R1300 GS once again appears. Regulatory documents indicating it's getting bigger and badder with the next update.

They don't want to be associated with a competitor by having their bikes in their showroom. I think BMW and Mercedes dealers used to do the same thing. I've done all my own maintenance on my Vincent for the last 40 years, and on the FJR for the last 5 - I'm not about to take the 1300 to the dealer for everything. Some people take the road less traveled. Then there are those that don't even need the road.
