How To Put Keychain On Bmw Key

Pretty Durable BMW Key Fob Cover with Key Chain. I'm so frustrated trying to figure out how to add a keychain to this BMW car key. Anyone have any suggestions? I just can't get a ring through it because it's such a strange, flat opening on the key!
