Transform your poolside retreat into a serene Polynesian haven where ocean breezes meet island elegance, creating a sanctuary of calm and style.
Polynesian-Inspired Patio Design Essentials
Crafting a true poolside Patio Polynesian experience begins with natural materials like reclaimed teak and volcanic stone, complemented by lush tropical greenery. Incorporate open-air layouts with woven accent furniture, soft cushions in earthy tones, and ambient lighting that mimics the gentle glow of a sunset over the sea—creating a space that feels both grounded and magical.
Cultural Touches That Elevate the Ambiance
Authentic Polynesian design weaves in handcrafted textiles, intricate wood carvings, and vibrant floral motifs that reflect island heritage. Use native plants like plumeria and palm fronds to infuse freshness, while strategically placed lanterns and smooth river stones add subtle cultural depth, transforming your patio into a living tribute to tropical heritage.
Functional Luxury for Unforgettable Evenings
A Patio Polynesian oasis isn’t just beautiful—it’s functional. Design around shaded seating for intimate gatherings, weather-resistant fire pits for evening warmth, and built-in storage for a clutter-free experience. Pair these with ambient string lights and a sound system playing soft island beats to extend your relaxation well into the night.
Elevate your outdoor living with a poolside Patio Polynesian escape that blends tranquility, craftsmanship, and island charm. Start today—let nature and culture inspire your perfect retreat, where every sunset becomes a moment of serene luxury.
Oasis Patio at Disney's Polynesian Resort Relax in your own private shaded area close to the pool-complete with cushioned lounge chairs, towels and more! Hungry? You can pick up to-go goodies from Barefoot Pool Bar or Pineapple Lanai or mobile order breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks from Captain Cook's! Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Pools & Wellness - Poolside Activities, Pool Parties, Lava Pool, Oasis Pool, Poolside Patio Rentals, Fitness Center, Running Trail. We've done it before and would do so again.
The price is pretty reasonable for a full day but that's because it's not actually a cabana experience like at other resort pools, no cooler with drinks, snacks, etc. Just seating. But the seating is very comfortable with good shade.
You can get service delivered to you from the Oasis Bar & Grill, which is what we did for lunch. Even the Oasis pool. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has two pools, the Lava and the Oasis.
We took lots of photos during our last stay for our pool guide! Pool days at the resorts are a great way to unwind and enjoy time away from the theme parks. However, if you're looking to take your pool day up a notch, you can rent a private cabana! Cabanas are available at the Beach Club and Yacht Club, the Contemporary, and Grand Floridian.
You can also rent a poolside patio over at the Polynesian. Beginning November 13, the poolside patios at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's Oasis Pool can be rented by guests of the resort. The reservations must be made by speaking to a resort concierge or by calling Disney reservations or DVC member services.
Discover the three main pools at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows: Lava Pool, Oasis Pool, and Oasis Patio. Perfect fun & relaxation! Poolside patios have been added to the Oasis Pool at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Starting November 13, they will be available for rent for prices ranging from $40-70 for the entire day. There are no additional services or features that come with the rental, just the ability to use the space for the entire time the patio rental is active. The patios we have rented are at the Oasis Pool- the quiet pool- and we booked in advance (at the 60 day window) by calling guest services.
I think it was about $75 for the day- I am sure prices have gone up- as this was about 18 months ago. You have lots of space- there is a sofa, 2 comfortable chairs a coffee table and loungers. The patios don't come with any beverages or food, but you can.
