Dead bedroom even worse after baby: r/DeadBedrooms r/DeadBedrooms Current search is within r/DeadBedrooms Remove r/DeadBedrooms filter and expand search to all of Reddit. Work on the lack of intimacy first. You don't want to be in a shit marriage with 2 small kids or a single mum to a baby and toddler.
FWIW exh and I didnt have sex/intimacy for 2 years. We grew apart. It was like siblings but we argued horribly.
Split after our only child turned 1. I was just a mother to his child. Yes, we are averaging once a week PIV and multiple times for oral and mutual masturbation.
I don't have to go through the comments to get to the bottom of it. The sub is about dead bedrooms and your post should have included that most crucial info in it. You can't blame me for being negative otherwise.
Dead bedroom after baby I'm 34m HL, my wife is 33 LL. Only she wasn't always LL. We've been together 7 years and the first 5 were very active, probably 14x per week.
Now it's 2x if I'm lucky, but what's worrying me is the change of attitude. Before she was keen and initiated more than half the time. I [34F] am the cause of a dead bedroom and want to fix it I [34F] and my husband [37M] have been together for 9 years and married 6 years.
We had a great sex life before and after marriage until we had kids. I got pregnant with my second just 5 months after I gave birth to my first. A community for both sides of the deadbedroom coin.
A place for advice or simply a rant. We've probably heard your story but you may not have heard the advice yet. There may be topics discussed here that don't align with your belief system but we ask you to keep the discussion civil and if you can't please move along to another post where you may be able to help.
Even after that, it may take a while for your sex life to pick up again, but you still gotta put in the work of raising the kid and taking care of the house. You'll be missing out on some things for sure, but hopefully time with your baby/toddler will make it worth it. Seriously, I thought for sure we'd end in divorce.
Looking back now it seems kind of funny! It gets better. It got better for us. It made us a stronger couple.
After the baby was born, things eventually got back to really good in the bedroom department (hence the reason we're expecting #2!). Now there are many reasons for why you might be in a Dead Bedroom situation, a big part of which might be how you treat your wife emotionally. That being said I think this is also what a lot of guys are facing in Dead Bedroom situations and as painful as it is if you want better you have to face it.
A special thank you to u/theywannabelexy for allowing me to use her post on Reddit. Dead bedrooms are a special sort of Hell I don't wish on anyone. Read this one if you want more.
