Another bathroom scene occurs in the film near the start. Danny is talking to himself in a mirror, once again on the right wall, as the camera creeps slowly forward. The shower curtain is pulled across even though there's no one in the shower, a foreshadowing of the room 237 shower curtain.

Both scenes even feature the same music. Room 237 was one of the standard guest rooms located on the second floor of the Overlook Hotel in Colorado. One of the most notable features in the room was the bathroom, which had lime green walls as well as green.

What was the meaning behind the scene in "The Shining" where Jack goes into the bathroom in room 237 and sees the woman in the bathtub? Was Jack hallucinating when he saw her?
