Dimplex Bathroom Fan Heater Keeps Cutting Out

Hi, Our bathroom Dimplex fan heater started cutting out after five minutes running. Not the thermostat or thermal link just fluff. A very easy fix but firstly isolate the power which is paramount for safety.

I removed the complete unit from the wall then took it into the workshop and blew. I have a heater (Dimplex FX20V) installed in my bathroom which only seems to go on for about 30-40 sec and then cut's out. It's connected to a MRT-16-PC timer.

The timer is set to max and dip switch set to 15-1hr Is it a problem with the timer or the heater itself? some photos. Dimplex repair. Heater keeps shutting off after a few minutes.

Anyway. I have a fan heater, at least 4 years old. Has been working well until recently, where it would just switch off by itself after 2 minutes of functioning.

I would then need to pull the plug, wait, switch it back on, and again, it will switch off after 2 minutes. I have a feeling it's due to the accumulated webs and dusts in the heater. I'm sure it was bought less than a year ago and it lately it keeps cutting out after a few minutes despite having the thermostat up at the highest setting. This heater is old, Keeps cutting out, had new thermostat and 4 new elements but still cuts out It's also had a new insulation panel fitted My electrician is charging a lot of money but still can't find the issue It will reset and heat for one day but then cuts out again Any help. The current fault on my Optiflame is that everything works fine - lights, 'smoke' etc - for about 10 min.

The fire then cuts out and closes down. I've dismantled it and looked for loose connection etc but still no joy. Advice welcomed.
