Rec Room's absence on PSVR2 adds to existing anxieties surrounding the platform's future. Despite launching last February with high-profile VR exclusives like Horizon Call of the Mountain and Gran Turismo 7, it seems like Sony doesn't have as many titles coming to the platform as it should. Rec Room is one of the leading social VR platforms, supporting every major console, mobile device, and VR headset-except PlayStation VR 2, that is.

And it's very likely going to stay that way. Apparently, Rec Room Inc. has decided that they are willing to bear those costs.

Which makes me think that we won't see a PSVR2 port of Rec Room unless we see a really surprising success of PSVR2 sales, which no one appears to expect at this point because of the relatively high price of PS5+PSVR2. When will Rec Room come to PSVR 2? Well, the news isn't good, as Rec Room has "no current plans" to support Sony's latest VR headset.
