So, if you have a bathroom with an off-center light fixture, keep reading to see the possibilities that await you. I have this same issue in my bathroom. I ended up getting three single bulb fixtures and mounting each to a rectangular piece of wood (with routed cavities for wiring).

The wood covers the holes while appearing to be centered over the mirror. For a single sink, hang one pendant light centered above the vanity, typically 12-20 inches from the top of the mirror. If you have a double vanity, use two pendant lights, one centered over each sink.

Hoping I can find some help on here with our vanity light issue. We are replacing our long vanity light with a smaller one. Issue is the junction box is not centered with the vanity.

It's off by about 3 inches. Is it possible to screw the fixture directly into the wall instead of the junction box? Initially the plan for the bathroom did not include a vanity light, only recessed.

But as luck would have it, the recessed fixture does not provide enough light over the sink. thanks for everyone's time and opinions. Learn how to properly adjust an off.

If you center the mirrors over the sinks, they'll look off with the window - with significantly larger gaps between the window and the mirrors & the window vs. windows & walls. Unless you're standing right at the sink, I think the current setup looks better than centering those mirrors/lights on the sinks.

Bathroom sink light fixture not centered So in the process of upgrades, and have noticed in a downstairs bathroom the light bar on the wall is not centered with the mirror. In fact, from the builders, its not centered with anything, not the wall even. Ive noticed it since we have moved in, but now want to replafe the light fixture.

Help! We started a bathroom remodel a year ago and need to finish it. The hang-up for me is where to put the mirror/trip and the electrical items - the light over the vanity, and the electrical outlets. There is one sink in the cabinet bank, which is offset.
