However, BMW dealer also says my model is not eligible for value service 99 dollar oil change. Value Service I know it's up to the dealer to opt into value service but does anyone have any info on when cars become eligible for the Value Service? I asked an SA about it recently and he said that they only offer it for cars that still have the option for maintenance plans but that doesn't seem 100% correct. Definitely worth checking out if you're debating between getting service done at the dealership or another shop (FYI, the independent shops I called both quoted $900+).

BMW Value Service: brake pads cheaper with dealer? Need to change rear brake pads and rotors on my 2016 X3. Local auto shop which is typically cheaper quoted $850. BMW dealer quoted $550, cheaper than the auto shop! Apparently brake pads fall under BMW's value service program.
Is there a catch here? Dealership Value Service How exactly does this work? I was quoted $1,030 for a complete brake rotors/pad/sensor job on all 4 wheels at my local dealership under the Value Service. They showed me an original cost of $2,384 before the Value Service is applied.
