Gathering Required Materials

Before you begin, ensure you have the following items in your inventory:

8 Prismarine Shards
1 Heart of the Sea

Finding Prismarine Shards

Prismarine Shards are dropped by Guardians, found in ocean monuments. You can also find them in shipwrecks and buried treasures. Use a trident or a bow with power enchantment to take down Guardians safely.

Once you've defeated a Guardian, it will drop Prismarine Shards, which you can collect by right-clicking on them.

Obtaining the Heart of the Sea

The Heart of the Sea is a rare drop from Elder Guardians, the boss of ocean monuments. To increase your chances, bring a bunch of Eyes of Ender to locate the monument, then use a trident with Impaling enchantment to damage the Elder Guardian without taking fall damage.

Once defeated, the Elder Guardian will drop the Heart of the Sea, which you can collect by right-clicking on it.

Crafting the Sea Lantern
