Chris Loves Julia Modern Colonial Kitchen

Back in May of 2021, I asked Chris (the cook around here) what the components of his dream kitchen would be. He made a list including multiple countertop surfaces, storage for his variety of knives and spices, a 60 range, a place to store his cookbooks, a separate place to prepare drinks and plate meals, and a large single-bowl sink! Follow along as we uncover the potential of our modern traditional home in North Carolina. When it came to our kitchen remodel, it was an over-a-year kind of project.

And now, since its been over a year since we have finished it, we thought it would be a good time to compile all of the posts on the largest project we ever tackled all in one spot. As I'm saving inspiration images for our upcoming modern colonial home, I'm noticing a few differences from the modern cottage look we've been working towards in this house and a lot of similarities too.
