Gambling Den Witcher 1

The Gamblers' den can be found in the Trade Quarter just off the alley along the Walls, near the merchant. Inside you can find Koster, and if you talk to him you'll start "Dice Poker: The Sharper". At the gambling den, if you go through the door in the basement, then you'll enter an adjacent building where you'll find three wealthy townsmen. If you fleece all three of them, then you'll complete the quest, but you won't get any particular reward, other than the orens you received from your winnings.

1 - Hairy Bear Inn 2 - Gunn's Smithy. The gambling den in the Temple Quarter is where rich citizens of Trade Quarter gather to play poker, undisturbed, for high stakes. The Dice Are Cast Not to be confused with the Gamblers' den which is part of The Witcher.

The dialogue happens after. W1 is one of my favourite games of all time, and I quite often forget to play Koster in chapter 3, because the gambling den is hidden, and yet, I get challenged by the Legend anyway, even on Shani playthroughs. I do play against the 2 chapter 4 sharpers, tho.

The Gambling Den Beat Koster. More gamblers to be found in chapter IV. The Gambling Ghost: In the ruins south of Murky Waters (Chapter IV) Legend (Need 1) King Foltest: In his chamber in the Castle (Chapter V) You'll earn experience points each time you defeat an opponent and each time you move up a level.

You won't get any sort of special reward for defeating the king. Dice poker is an addictive game played throughout the The Continent, and it is very popular in Temeria. If you are good enough, it is a great way of making money.

Entering the Gambling Den As a professional poker player I'll be able to enter any gambling den in Vizima. And only the best play there. I can play poker in gambling dens now.
