The BMW M4 GT4 was a factory-built race car variant of the F82 BMW M4. Introduced in 2018, the GT4 uses many of the components found in the road car, including the S55 3.0L twin-turbo inline six engine and 7 speed DCT automatic transmission. In order to comply with regulations, the S55 engine was tuned to 425hp, with power sent to the rear wheels.
