My BRZ is basically as comfortable as a typical compact car, because it has IRS its actually better than the crap torsion beam stuff like Mazda 3, older Corollas, Elantras, etc. My criteria is shockingly simple, do I get a headache driving the car with no issues going in, my FRS passed this while an RSX totally failed. 23 BRZ Turbocharged; Owners driving impressions STREET/TRACK brz gr86 sme turbo turbocharger Jump to Latest 18K views 70 replies 20 participants last post by Kaspur2 4d ago.

I plan to toss a nice wheel and tire set up into it with a good suspension. Thanks in. The BRZ gets a sport mode (throttle response) that is sharper responding like the GR86.

The GR's throttle gets more progressive. The BRZ is little bit tail happier. They both get retuned steering and shocks.
Time will tell if this is good or bad. So what do you owners think? Is GR86/BRZ a reliable car? I posted a couple of days ago of me putting an order in for a 2024 BRZ and tips on learning manual.
This will be my first manual car and I have been reading posts on here and seen a couple people's cars dying at around 20k miles which got me worried. Should I be concerned that there will be an engine issue with this car? All tS are manual (at least here in the US.
Only the Limited has an auto option now). The tS does have adaptive cruise: "2024 marks a significant year as it brings Subaru's groundbreaking EyeSight safety tech to manual transmission versions of the BRZ tS. Incorporating adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and more, this suite of safety features.
Toyota GR 86, Subaru BRZ, or Mazda MX-5 Miata? I'm looking for a fun to drive relatively small coupe for around $40k and have narrowed it down to three choices. Of these three, the only one I've been able to test drive is a BRZ which I definitely enjoyed. The biggest differences are that the front end is different and the 86 has the duckbill.
The 86 has a stiffer ride than the brz as well. There's more to it, but those are the two big areas that they're different Reply reply tacjos I also belive the throttle is mapped differently in the Toyota vs. BRZ Reply reply kebobs22 There is a slight difference but unless you drive one right after.
The brz just seems like the more obvious answer to me, given small differences like it having aluminum knuckles vs Toyota's steel, and therefore less unsprung mass right out of the box.
