First, Anime Boston is one of the most accommodating and accessible conventions around. From providing quiet rooms and gender neutral bathrooms, to offering closed-captioning and early seating, the organizers have tried to create a space that is enjoyable for all. Basically the con has to have guests or panels she is really interested in for her consider pushing past the anxiety to attend and we also go into these things with the understanding if she gets overwhelmed we are either going to a quiet/calm room and/or leaving. Luckily, the convention center is very spread out, staff control lines so that they don't get bunched up, and there's even a specially designated Quiet Room tucked away in a hallway.
