1Nine On-Campus Dining Halls No matter you are on campus, there's probably a dining hall nearby! During class, you may find that locations on upper campus are even closer than those along the South Lawn. Remember to explore all your dining hall options to beat the lunch crunch! The most traditional sit-down dining hall of Columbia, with long wooden tables fitted with clunky wooden chairs, is John Jay Dining Hall.

Located above JJ's Place and on the first floor of the residential John Jay Hall, it is the spot for a more proper and healthy meal. Dining News Barnard Meal Plan holders please note: Your plan allows you two meals a day at Columbia (once per meal period for Br/Lunch or Dinner). It does not allow for access to JJ's Place, and is not transferable.
