Star Wars Unlimted's Aspects function similarly to archetypes in most other trading card games (TCG). So, what Aspects are available in Star Wars Unlimited and how do they work? The Aspects (colors) do not in any way restrict deck building.

However, if you play a card that has one or more Aspects that do not match your Base + Leader, you have to play 2 more resources for each Aspect that doesn't match. Star Wars: Unlimited currently has seven different card variants to find as you begin diving into the game, with some found in normal Booster Packs, and others exclusively available in premium Carbonite Edition Booster Packs. Some variants can be applied to any card, and others only appear on specific card types or select lists of cards.

While the color carries no rules meaning players will frequently refer to aspects by color instead of the aspect name. The aspects and their colors are Vigilance - Blue, Command - Green, Cunning - Yellow, Aggression - Red, Heroism - White, and Villainy. The example Star Wars: Unlimited provides is if you have Luke Skywalker as your leader (Vigilance and Heroism aspects) but play Cell Block Guard (Villainy aspect), you would have to pay 5 resources instead of 3.

A Fleet Lieutenant (Heroism aspect) would only cost the standard 3 resources. trueI would add to what the others said that so far, in the the first set, each aspects has some common Traits. Force users are red for Sith and Inquisitors, and blue for Jedi; Yellow has the fringe and underworld cards, officials are green, imperial troopers are blue while rebel troopers are red, etc.
