In certain indigenous cultures the turtle is the symbol for the continent of North America, or turtle island. This Haida interpretation of the turtle incorporates that legend. This language learning colouring book is the first of a new series of resources developed with a commitment to the entire content development and publishing process being led by Indigenous communities and talent such as authors, artists, translators, project managers, and advisors.
