BMW tuner MANHART looks back on over 35 years of experience in dealing with the optimisation of luxurious & sporty car tuning parts & chiptunin️g! Manhart skipped upgrading the 3.2 L S54 inline-six that originally came in this BMW E46 M3 CSL. Instead they swapped a 5.0 L S85 V10 from a BMW E60 M5.
Manhart increased the motor's output to 560 hp (411 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque. The V10's sound is accentuated by custom stainless steel headers and a titanium exhaust. Behind the motor is a SMG.

A little known fact is that all H50's were actually built by Manhart Performance - another German tuner who specialises in high performance BMW modification and tuning programmes. By dropping a 5.0 V8 from the BMW M5 into the E46's engine bay this upped the power to an M5 equivalent of 394hp, but the conversion didn't stop there.
