Wireframe: Move across the surface and identify the direction each plane faces. My life drawing teacher would say “be an ant crawling on the surface of the form.” 2. BLOCK-IN 🔳 Simplify the subject into large, flat planes. Separate planes facing the light from those facing away. 3.MIDTONE 🌚 Refine the block-in while respecting the underlying form structure. 4.SHADOWS ☕️ Form Shadows: Gradual shadows caused by surfaces turning away from the light. Cast Shadows: Shadows projected by one form onto another surface. Ambient Occlusion: The darkest areas where light has difficulty reaching, usually in creases, overlaps, and contact points. 5.LOCAL VALUE
