𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒃𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒙 I'm delighted to finally share this finished commission for The Hobbit trilogy. Every commission presents its own design challenges, and this one was no exception. I knew from the start that I wanted to avoid magnetic clasps, which immediately led me to the idea of a clamshell box. The problem, of course, is that a clamshell is meant to house a single object. Three separate movie cases would have been loose inside. The answer was a slipcase. And that's how thi...

Проєкт, яким ми пишаємось!❤️ Всі книги, які ми виготовляємо, — унікальні. Але є вироби, робота над якими, а головне, результат, відображають ширший спектр можливостей нашої майстерні. Custom book slipcases are made by building a rigid, precisely sized enclosure around the finished dimensions of a book or book set. The structure is usually formed from greyboard, wrapped in printed paper, book cloth, faux leather, or another decorative material, and finished to match the visual identity of the publication. For publishers and brands, the best results come when the books and slipcase are planned together. Confirming the final book dimensions, materials, finishing processes and packing method early can reduce fit problems, production delays and avoidable shipping costs. #bookslipcases #bookpackaging #custombooks
