The Roman emperor Augustus made Umbria (together with the district of Ager Gallicus). Umbria (/ ˈʌmbriə / UM-bree-ə; Italian: [ˈumbrja]) is a region of central Italy. It includes Lake Trasimeno and Marmore Falls, and is crossed by the Tiber.
