Sugarbush Hill gets its name from the Common Sugarbush, Protea caffra which can be found in abundance on the hillside just behind the units. All the cottages have been named after indigenous plants found in the Magaliesberg area. Wherever possible, alien species have been done away with or replaced with indigenous plants.
