On many short-distance trains, food service is available in the Cafe Car, featuring table seating. Food service is normally available from early morning until late evening. Amtrak serves brewed coffee on board, so you can always grab a cup unless you're craving something more "fancy." Some passengers refer to the Café Car as the snack, bar, or lounge car.
