Bmw K 1200 Gt Abs Problem
Am considering purchasing a 2008 BMW K1200GT The bike drives perfect however the ABS is not working. The brakes works 100% you just have no ABS. The seller says that its been like that for the last 3 years.
I was always under the impression that if the ABS failed that you only have residual. Hello world, I have 2003 K1200GT. Owned for 12 years.
No problems over 12 yeaars and is a joy to ride. On a recent ride the ABS failure light started blinking. Never happened before so I noticed.

I have a 2003 K1200GT, and I have the ABS warning lights flashing. Here's what's happening Ignition on, Brake failure light flashes at 4khz, and warning triangle on constant. After about 4 seconds, BF light stops flashing briefly (split second) then continues to flash at 4khz.
Warning. My 2003 BMW K1200GT's computer is reporting a problem in the ABS system - The rider's manual says this warning light sequence means low brake fluid. Jn.

This morning when I turned it on, I had ESW in the display, and it couldn't start. Looked online and that means anti theft not recognising key I guess. Flipped the key 180 degrees, and no problem.

I'm always a bit confused about a 2006 K1200GT designation. Is this the older classic in line engine bike or the newer generation engine across the frame.
