Ideally we would like one with colorful blooms but something "hardy" and low maintenance is also important. You can plant a bunch of hydrangeas and follow all the instructions and have a beautiful garden, but it takes a lot of time for plants to be so bountiful as this picture I forgot to mention that probably the most important thing is lighting. They love morning sun and afternoon filtered light (through tree canopies).
