Teach Inverse Functions with this easy hand-drawn algebra infographic! Students learn how an inverse function undoes the original function using y = f⁻¹(x), with key rules like f(f⁻¹(x)) = x and f⁻¹(f(x)) = x. Includes steps for finding an inverse, swapping x and y, solving for y, graph reflection over y = x, examples, and real-life uses. Perfect for high school algebra, homeschool lessons, classroom anchor charts, functions practice, and quick revision. The inverse function of y=sin(x) is y=sin^-1(x) and can be defined as the inverse of the restricted sine function. It is necessary to restrict the domain of sine to define the inverse. The domain of sine is restricted from -pi/2 to pi/2. The graphs of the functions y=Sin(x) and y=Sin^-1(x) are reflections of each other about the line y=x. This results in y=sin^-1(x) having a domain of -1 to 1 and a range of -pi/2 to pi/2.
