This is a puzzle to apply skills in quadrilateral classification, using true false questions and logical thinking. Examples of questions: "Parallelograms cannot be rectangles, True or False?" "Some rectangles are also rhombuses, True or False?"This also motivates students and helps students self-check since the answers create a word scramble. I have used this with 5th graders, and they enjoyed it. It was challenging, but attainable.
Quickly learn the properties of special parallelograms and use them to find missing side lengths and angles for rectangles, rhombi, and squares.

Squares Are Always Parallelograms
Parallelograms worksheets. A parallelogram is a quadrilateral that has 2 pairs of parallel sides. In these worksheets, students identify which shapes are parallelograms. Grade 3 | Geometry | Free | Printable | Worksheets.
Activity for students to practice properties of special parallelograms by answering questions that are posted around the room and then finding those answers on another question that is posted around the room. Includes rules for angles in a rectangle, rhombus, square as well as properties of diagonals and angles created by diagonals in each.

Are Squares Special Parallelograms
Teach Parallelogram Geometry with this easy hand-drawn math infographic! Students learn what a parallelogram is, its key properties, and the main formulas for area and perimeter: A = b × h and P = 2(a + b). Includes opposite parallel sides, equal opposite angles, supplementary adjacent angles, diagonals that bisect each other, labeled diagram, worked examples, and real-life uses.
