A few months ago I came across this sketch somewhere on the internet where the artist described it as a visual of how love feels. The idea stayed somewhere in my mind long after that. Recently I felt the urge to draw it myself, adding a few elements of my own along the way. Some love does not stay gentle, it becomes consuming, pressing against the ribs until it begins to ache there. This drawing is simply my interpretation of that feeling.
