Encourage creativity with themes such as ‘Spooky Forest Spirits’ or ‘Candy Corn Carnival.’ Offer small prizes like artisanal candy or handmade crafts to boost participation and foster community spirit around your Halloween door contest.

Step-by-Step: Building a Spooky Door Structure

Start with a sturdy base using cardboard or wood, then layer textures with fabric, paint, and craft supplies. Use spray adhesive to attach tissue paper bats or printed ghosts for durability. Add motion with small motors or wind-up lights for dynamic effects. Secure all elements to withstand weather and ensure safety—your door should be both magical and resilient.
