We run a two-bedroom AirBNB with a single shared bathroom and I am curious how other hosts handle listings with similar setups. We have really tried to make the shared bathroom as painless as possible for guests and have made upgrades based on feedback from dozens of people who have stayed with us. We have shelves for guests, numbered towel hooks, and very simple rules such as asking to keep.

I stayed at an Airbnb in Boston with a shared bathroom - was 10 mins from the airport and figured it'd be fine for a shared bathroom. I got in at 8pm (from a long day of traveling from Amsterdam) and the bathroom was DISGUSTING. I have a 2 bedroom/1 bath in Brooklyn, that's pretty standard set up here in NY.

I stayed at an Airbnb recently where 5 guests all shared the same bathroom and THAT'S definitely not comfortable. Shower schedules alone are a pain and if the drain clogs or something then you're all out. Landlords (even airbnb ones) are so damn useless, you take all the money just for someone to exist in the space and want them to treat that shit like the Mona Lisa lmao, put on some fucking rubber gloves and show some respect Reply shininglight418 Additional comment actions.
