i won't lie, when i came to the us in 2010 i didn't know this country treats non-stem fields as garbage.
I worked hard, invested many years of my life to get a journalism and political science degree but could only work for one year at a decent newspaper. I went beck to my home country but the $$ & quality of life is too good in the u. S in comparison. So i came back got my master's and will be starting my phd in journalism this fall. All of this is to become a us citizen one day! i have no other motivation to do a phd - green card.
