There are six sessions. Eight lessons will be taught in four sessions over a two-week period on Monday through Thursday. It costs $75 for residents of Manteca and $85 for non-residents. At Lincoln Park's swimming pool, lessons are held.

Sessions will be held June 5-15, June 19-29, July 3-13, and July 17-27. Since Independence Day is on July 3, the session will be one day shorter.

There will also be two one-week sessions from July 31 to August 3. The nights of Aug. 7-10 and Aug. 3 will be open. For city residents, the fee is $36; for non-city residents, it is $48.

Lincoln Park offers residents and non-residents private one-on-one swim lessons for $125 and $135 respectively. Lessons last 40 minutes on Monday through Thursday. June 5 through July 27 are available for lessons. On Saturday, there will be two private lessons available. Manteca adding Pup Pool

Party among aquatic offerings

Pup pool parties are planned for Saturday, August 19.

Dogs are allowed to swim and cool off in the pool.

Lifeguards will be on duty. There must be an adult accompanying the child. Entry is free for owners.

There is a deadline of Aug. 17 for registration.

We are planning two junior lifeguard camps in June and July, both of which will teach basic water safety and water skills.

As campers swim and play games, their stamina will be built. Swimming independently in deep water should be a comfort level for students. Even though it's taught by certified lifeguards, it isn't a certification course.

Registration includes a T-shirt.

There is a $125 charge for residents and $135 charge for non-residents.
