Programs for free
Some facilities offer payment assistance, or sliding-fee scales. Treatment centers can be costly. Some programs are free and paid for by the state. These programs sponsored by the state often have long waiting lists.
For those in recovery, support groups such as Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous can be a great option.
