Dr. Dan Margolin retired after 20 years as an operating room surgeon. M.D. started Physician Aesthetic Specialists. Dr. Margolin has a unique background in aesthetic treatments. It is easy to find the Physician Aesthetic Specialists' office. The office is conveniently located in Lenexa Kansas. It has quick access to I-35, 435, and 535. The practice is minutes away from Overland Park and Shawnee in Kansas, as well as Kansas City, Missouri.
What are the treatments? It will vary depending on the area that is being treated. It is common to apply a numbing agent to the area around 20 minutes prior the procedure. The procedure may cause minimal discomfort and pain. Local anesthesia and numbing cream will be used to treat areas that require more intensive treatment. We will recommend that acne patients return to the clinic within 24 to 48 hours of treatment. The treatment involves inserting an insulated needle in the fat pad or wrinkle to treat acne. Radio frequency is used to trigger the right number of pulses for each area.
What does recovery look like? The first week may bring about some redness, swelling, and even bruising. For more advanced treatments, you might experience some numbness around the treated area for upto four weeks. Dr. Margolin is certified to use BOTOX in the treatment of chronic headaches. He has designed a unique multi-specialty integrated chronic migraine headache clinic. Each patient can have a thorough evaluation by Dr. Margolin or a chiropractor specialist.
