One of the most exciting recent developments online has been the growth of the wiki IMSLP (the International Music Score Library Project). In its own words,
IMSLP attempts to create a virtual library containing all public domain musical scores, as well as scores from composers who are willing to share their music with the world without charge.
Currently the IMSLP project has over 40,000 scores available for free download. We at PerformingEditions warmly support the work of IMSLP.org, and offer a service to provide you with bound, double-sided music scores (subject to all applicable copyright regulations), produced in our print shop.
