What is Hair Removal Waxing?Waxing is the removal of hair at the root. It involves applying a wax-like substance to the body hair and then pulling the hair out of the follicle. For four to six months, new hair will not grow back in previously waxed areas. However, some people can see regrowth within the first week of waxing due to their hair growing on a different schedule.

A consultation may be needed prior to scheduling chemical peels. With deeper peels, medications may be necessary.
