Rear led light failure I later noticed that the drl led strip on the inner light for my other side was suddenly not working, but eventually noticed that the connector was bent. The part you take off which has the bulbs attached to it also has a "pin" which gives the electricity for the led strip. Mine was bent and didn't connect properly, thankfully I noticed this before I bougth a new one.
I had been looking into this issue on my BMW for a while. A search of the forums and online didnt help much. I decided to take it apart and investigate.
The second generation BMW X3 F25 (years 2011-2017), like many other BMW models, added new style features to the high end mid-size SUV. One of these added features was LED lighting within the tail light assembly. Unfortunately, the BMW X3 LED tail lights have become notorious in failing as early as 60,000 miles after purchase.
2013 F30 Rear Parking/Brake Light - Inner Tail Light Bulbs not working Hello Everyone, I just noticed my inner tail light bulbs are not working, so I replaced them for new ones. The issue continues so I checked the all the fuses and they're fine, also checked for any damage cables and everything looks fine. F30 rear tail light and indicator not working Discussion in ' 3 Series ' started by John shell, Aug 11, 2021.
Figure 1 The taillight on F30 models houses all of the rear lights. One lens is mounted in the trunk lid (blue arrow) and one in the rear fender (red arrow). Figure 2 Working in the trunk at the tail light, twist the trim panel lock (red arrows) to unscrew and then remove it (inset).
Figure 3 Unclip and lift the tail light trim up to remove. So I was wondering how does the F30 check if the light is "not working" does the F30 system checks the resistance in order to figure out if the bulb is working and if so then what would that resistance value be? Or does it require entirely new coding because it's like a digital identification of the component through like a "handshake"? Hi hope someone can help with this.
320D saloon, 12 reg. F30 model- yellow triangle says "rear right indicator bulb fault". I checked the lights and have no rear left indicator, brake light or night light.
I didn't check the reverse light. So looks like the entire light cluster has stopped working. Would anyone have some suggestions on what I could check and how, to try and diagnose the issue before I take it into my dealer for an (I expect) expensive repair.
The blinker will not blink for a turn signal the other light in the housing work fine including the brake light. I have swapped out housing and verified the bulb, and the the housing are good. (tested on the right hand side).
Still its not blinking even though the lef front blinker works, and the mirror works.
