Center the tabletop on the frame and attach it using 2-inch screws from the underside. Ensure the tabletop is level and flush with the apron.
Sand, Stain, and Seal
Sand the entire table lightly with 120-grit sandpaper, followed by a more thorough sanding with 220-grit. Wipe away any dust, then apply your chosen stain or paint. Allow it to dry, then apply a coat of polyurethane to protect the table from moisture and wear.
Build the Farmhouse Bench
Follow a similar process to create your farmhouse bench. Cut your lumber according to your desired dimensions, ensuring you include supports for the seat and a backrest for added comfort.
Assemble the bench using wood glue and screws, then sand, stain, and seal as you did with the table.
