Week 1 Discussion: Corinne

I was particularly interested in the Children, Adolescents, and the Media article because I’m an editor for my friend’s media literacy web series, “The Media Show” and we actually recently did a video about kids under 2 and screen time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpNw6zA_Yjs

Of course, watching this video is an experience best shared with others, as Richert, Robb, and Smith might agree!

I sometime struggle with these long lists of recommendations, with very few specific tools that families, communities, and school can use. For example, is there an actual framework that schools can use to “encourage the continuation and expansion of media education programs”? I’d love to build out that product.
