In today's tutorial we're going to continue with the Horror Movie Special, and learn how to create the trippy carpet pattern from Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining". We're going to create it using some "old-school" techniques, which involve the careful handling of the Rectangle Tool combined with the power of the Pixel Grid.

The Shining carpet features dynamic red, brown, and orange colorways. Worked into a hypnotic, mesmerizing pattern, it almost leaps out through the screen. This standout design makes it easy to see why it became the most iconic carpet in film history.
