"Time's Arrow, Part II" was filmed at the same time as the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine pilot episode " Emissary ". As with many appearances where Dr. Crusher appears in flashbacks or other time period costumes, Gates McFadden's real hair was used in all the scenes where she wears her nurse costume.
