For me, a CD isn't just a disc with music. For me, it's nostalgia, because I grew up with discs. It's the vibe and atmosphere, it's how beautifully they sit on the shelf, it's the knowledge that you actually own something, it's knowing that no one can delete or change a song remotely without your knowledge. It's not just about listening to music, it's about the ritual of choosing an album from those you own, taking it out, looking at the artwork, opening the case, taking out the disc, putting it in the player, leafing through the lyric book, or looking at the poster that came with it.
