Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 22, 2025
1. Introduction
Appmentory ("we", "our", or "us") respects and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Mtracker collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
We only collect information that is essential for providing and improving our service.
Information You Provide Directly:
- Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your email address. We use service providers like Firebase Authentication that are also capable of collecting your name and profile photo if you choose to sign in via a third-party service like Google in the future. We also assign a unique User ID to your account. This information is used to create and manage your account, provide customer support, and communicate with you.
- Financial Information: We collect and store the income, expenses, budgets, currency settings, and custom categories you enter. This is the core functionality of the App, allowing you to track your finances.
- Feedback and Support: If you contact us for support, we may collect your message and any other information you voluntarily provide to analyze issues and improve the App.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage and Device Data: We automatically collect data about your device and how you interact with our App. This includes Device or other IDs (such as device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers), crash logs, diagnostics, and anonymized usage statistics. This helps us understand how our App is used, diagnose technical problems, and enhance app functionality and stability.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We only share your information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:
- With Service Providers: We use third-party services like Firebase (a Google service) and Expo to provide core backend functionality. This includes authentication, database storage (Firestore), crash reporting, and app updates. These providers have access to the data they need to perform their functions (such as your email, User ID, and Device ID) but are bound by their own strict privacy policies. You can review Google's Privacy Policy here.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public.
4. Data Storage and Security
The security of your data is a priority. We implement the following measures:
- All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS).
- We utilize Firebase's robust security features to protect the data stored on their servers.
- While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention and Your Right to Deletion
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services.
In compliance with Google Play's data deletion policy, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
- In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and data through the "Delete Account" option within the App's settings.
- Web-Based Deletion Request: You can also request account and data deletion, even without access to the app, by visiting our data deletion webpage: Mtracker Account and Data Deletion
Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently and irrevocably remove all your associated personal and financial data from our production systems, unless retention is required for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.
6. Children's Privacy
