Selecting and Delivering the Material

Once sourced, the logistics of delivery must be coordinated. Because loose fill dirt is inefficient to transport in small quantities, a commercial dump truck delivery is standard. The Spreading Process: Laying the Foundation
The actual act of spreading is a systematic process of deposition and pulverization. You should never simply dump a large pile of dirt in one corner and attempt to move it all at once. This is typically done using a roller or the wide base of the skid steer itself, driving over the surface in a pattern that ensures no low spots are missed.
